The Abilene Swim Club is temporarily CLOSED - the algae level is too high (as it is in 70% of Abilene pools right now according to the expert consulted) and the shock treatments have made the chlorine level too high to swim right now. As soon as the chlorine levels are normal, hopefully around 5 or 6 PM, the pool will reopen. Frances suggests that you CALL BEFORE YOU COME, however, just to make sure they are open.
